Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is a condition that affects the nerves, leading to weakness and numbness in the arms and legs. This study is focused on evaluating a new treatment called riliprubart, also known by its code name SAR445088. The treatment is given as a solution for injection under the skin. The purpose of the study is to assess how effective, safe, and tolerable this treatment is for adults with CIDP.
The study involves different groups of patients with CIDP: those who are currently receiving standard treatments, those who have not responded well to standard treatments, and those who have not yet received any standard treatments. Participants will receive the riliprubart treatment and will be monitored to see how they respond over time. The study will also look at any side effects that may occur during the treatment period.
Throughout the study, researchers will collect information on how well participants are doing, including any improvements in their symptoms or any adverse effects they experience. This information will help determine the long-term safety and effectiveness of riliprubart for treating CIDP. The study is expected to continue until 2026, providing valuable insights into this potential new treatment option for people with CIDP.
